For those who have an air purifier…?
with an automatic on function when particles are sensed, how often does it go into "dirty" mode? I’m just wondering if mine goes off at a normal or above normal rate, although obviously that is subjective. Thanks!
Any movement in a room will stir up particles, so your air purifier should be running constantly. In fact, you will probably save money on electricity if you let it run 24/7. The blower motor draws the most electricity at start-up, so you will use less electricity if you just let it run.
You might want to do a little research about air cleaners to make sure you bought the right one. "Automatic on" sounds like a gimmick to me.
