what is the best air purifier for smoke?
For home use, you have two choices:

2. Electronic precipitator – http://www.smoke-eaters-supply.com/cigar-smoke-eaters.html
These are the only choices that are effective for smoke. The electronic units are what we put in bars and casinos for smoke removal, but some homeowners don’t like to have to clean them regularly. The next best option is the HEPA air cleaners. Either of these will take care of the smoke, just keep in mind the on-going cost of the HEPA units. Also, not all HEPA units are equal, so I don’t have another brand or style to recommend that would be as effective as the Sun Pure model.
